Department of Neurology

Live and Work in Beautiful Seattle!

The University of Washington Department of Neurology is growing and changing. We are the destination center of neurological expertise for the entire WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho). Our team supports the care needs of people living with neurological disease across 27% of America’s geographical landmass. Based in dynamic Seattle, we seek BC/BE Neurologists and APPs to join us across a range of different subspecialties.

The Department of Neurology possesses expertise in every subspecialty area of neurology. We are a single department based across five hospitals in the city of Seattle: Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center – Montlake, UW Medical Center – Northwest, Veterans Administration Puget Sound and Seattle Children’s Hospital. This breadth gives us an unparalleled range of pathology and service delivery opportunities, within the umbrella of the UW Medicine Neurosciences Institute. And our close affiliations with the Schools of the University of Washington provide an incredible spectrum of opportunities for collaboration and education (learn more at https://www.washington.edu/about/academics/).

Join the 150 people in our department committed to tertiary neurological care, advancing our mission to educate the next generation of clinicians and scholars, and exploring the cutting edge of discovery. All that, and in this city surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and rated by multiple sources as the best place to live in the United States! We are so excited to welcome you to the AAN Annual Meeting in Seattle, and to Washington State.
