Neurology Day 2020

Dear Alumni and Colleagues,

The Neurology Day Committee has made the hard decision to transition Neurology Day to a free online-only event this year. This is a non CME event. We will be posting our lectures as video recordings below. We are also planning a Q&A session on Zoom on October 26th from 12-1pm.

Questions for the panel can be sent to jak216@uw.edu to be answered during the Zoom Q&A session. A recording of the Q&A session will also be made available for those who cannot make it on October 26th.

We realize that economics are tight this year but we still hope to use the funds that we raised on UW Neurology Day to support our mission of enriching the education experience of our current and future trainees. Funds raised have supported allowing multiple residents attend conferences in the past as well as the basic science project of one trainee allowing them to apply for a training grant. One of our goals is to expand the opportunity to join our department training program to as many students and residents as possible. We are hoping to sponsor residents to attend national conferences sponsored by underrepresented minorities to promulgate the idea that University of Washington and Seattle is a great place for everyone to do their training, as well as the idea that all hands on deck are needed to help patients with neurological problems. Therefore, we ask you to consider making a tax deductible donation to UW Neurology training programs.

Please contact Jessica Valoy jak216@uw.edu with any questions.
